Happy Mother's Day

Grace's preschool had a nice Mother's Day breakfast for us. The kids served us muffins they had baked the day before and presented us with homemade cards, place mats, and a flower. They even brought us our food. Afterward, we went to a local theater to watch a musical production of Frog and Toad.

Haircut

Grace has always been extremely picky about who cuts her hair. Since she was one, only Ms. Rita could cut it. No other lady, even in the same shop, could touch her hair. The only problem is, Ms. Rita lives four hours away! I was so proud of her yesterday when she let me take her to a local salon and sat in the chair like a big girl for a beautiful hair cut!

Talent

Archie has always loved to stand on his head. He can do it now for over 1 minute!!! Gymnastics are in his future, I think.

Grace really mastered "snowboarding" sled style this winter. I was proud of her for holding a standing position so long.

Happy One Week to Grant!

Grant celebrated his one week birthday on April 29. (He'll be a whopping 11 days old today at 2:11 p.m.) Grace was feeling a little left out that day so to make her feel better I took her on a special trip to the grocery to buy her favorite cake mix and to the park. She helped decorate the cake and felt like a special big sister. Overall, both kids have done great being big siblings to Grant. Couldn't ask for better!
