Remember Hunter's
surprise birthday party last year? It was surprising because it was so early. This one was surprising because it was a bit late, but great fun nonetheless. Hunter does an English corner at one of the nearby colleges on Monday nights and the students wanted to express their appreciation by throwing him a party. They went all out. (Photo above: us with our language teacher, Christina.)

Archie enjoyed the cake. He also enjoyed feeding some to Diana, one of his favorite aunties!

Beautiful cake!

The games were fun for all!

But, Archie's favorite game is running through the rather strange shaped conference table. He could chase balloons in there all day!
Thanks for a great party!

That WAS a beautiful cake - did it taste as good as it looks? :P Looks like you guys are enjoying your time in China. We'll continue to pray for you as you continue to post pics and updates on the blog. Have a nice rest of your week!

Spoken like a true baker, Jaimie! Actually, all cakes here are BEAUTIFUL! They have that part down. Unfortunately, they don't taste quite as good as they look. They're ok but the icing isn't very sweet. It's mainly just whipped cream.
Fun :) That table is awesome! :)
